Bristle Tufting Expertise

Precision at the brush head — one of the company’s core manufacturing strengths. A fleet of more than 200 tufting machines, including 126 self-developed 3-axis and 5-axis machines, handles everything from standard staple tufting to anchorless and specialty patterns, followed by end-rounding for gum-safe bristle tips.

What This Operation Covers

A brush-head capability built on our own machines

The brush head is the part of an oral-care product consumers judge most directly — hole pattern, anchor strength and, above all, bristle tip smoothness. Tufting is where head design becomes a physical, gum-safe product.

Our scale and flexibility come from the machines themselves: of 200+ tufting machines in daily operation, 126 are self-developed 3-axis and 5-axis machines engineered in-house for complex, non-standard heads. This supports unique bristle patterns, special tufting specs and faster setup for new-product trial runs — backed by 14 imported copper-free machines and 28 high-speed automatic machines.

How This Stage Runs

From head design to rounded, inspected tips

01

Head setup & custom tooling

3-axis / 5-axis setup for the hole pattern and anchor program; custom tooling for non-standard heads.

02

Tufting

Filament is implanted by staple, anchorless or the required specialty technology with controlled anchor depth.

03

End-rounding

Bristle ends are ground and polished to rounded, gum-safe profiles — up to 98% rounding rate.

04

Roundness & pull-force QC

Tip roundness inspection and anchor / pull-force checks before the heads move to finishing.

Quality at This Stage

Gum-safe tips you can verify under a microscope

Sharp or unrounded bristle ends are the fastest way to damage a brush-head’s reputation. We control rounding, anchor integrity and pattern consistency on every run.

Tuft Pattern & Anchorless Tufting
  • End-rounding to up to 98% rounding rate, with tip-roundness inspection
  • Anchor integrity / bristle pull-force testing for secure tufts
  • Hole-pattern and tuft-height consistency checks across the head
  • Copper-free anchorless tufting available for corrosion-sensitive programs
  • Certified premium filament: DuPont, Pedex, Toray and KR, lot traceable
  • First-article sign-off and per-batch inspection before handover to finishing
